Reporter Aptitude Test: Question Eight

The Suicide Dilemma

The Scenario: A suicidal man (or woman) is hanging out of a 50th floor skyscraper window, ready to jump. What describes your behavior most accurately?

You summon the authorities to the scene and while they are coming, you go into the building and try to talk this poor, distraught person away from the window.

You call the authorities to the scene, then get your camera ready in case the authorities are unable to prevent the jump.

You incite the crowd to yell "jump, jump" as you position yourself for a good photo, calculating the optimum angle for the maximum splatter of blood and guts. You check to make sure there is plenty of film in your camera.

You check the person's back for a parachute. This is probably a publicity stunt.

You lay your jacket down on the sidewalk so the person will land on something soft.
